Adding plants around the perimeter All planted. Now grow!

Here are the rocks all laid out. I still need to add the liner so numbering the rocks with chalk will help when I put them back. The rockwork is complete!

We put down a layer of bricks with mortar and then added a row of rocks, keeping the liner behind it all.

Using a laser level keeps things, um ... level See? Ready for liner!

Is this big enough? Nope ... this looks better!

For the top pond, we used a pre-formed liner since it had the lip built in already.

The plan: Two ponds. One small one, then a waterfall and a larger pond below.

After moving to our first house we decided that we'd like another pond. This time we went a bit bigger. It started with a rock wall.
